Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) Workshop Series

For "Writing from the Heart" and other AWA workshops, the refund policy is as follows:

 

• Before the first workshop meeting: Full refund, minus a $10 processing fee.

• After the first meeting: Your payment minus the cost of one drop-in session and $10 processing fee ($45).

There will be no refunds issued after the first meeting. However, under extenuating circumstances–such as severe illness or family emergency–it may be possible to transfer your balance to the next series (does not apply to summer series). At leader's discretion.

Journal to the Self® Classes

Because Journal to the Self® classes require advance ordering of materials, there will be no refunds starting a week before the series begins. If you cancel before materials have been mailed to you, you will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee. If materials have already been mailed to you, an additional $20 materials fee will be deducted.

Other Workshops & Retreats

For workshops conducted through other organizations, such as Loudoun County Public Schools, different policies will apply. Retreat refund policies will vary based on venue.​
